Fourteen apartments, two layouts.

Each one is furnished and ready to live in: an open living room and kitchen, a walk in shower, and a bedroom behind its own door. Linen and towels are provided, and housekeeping is arranged with the front desk.

The Building

New, and built to be lived in.

The Benesan is a new building on Namibia Street in Bole, put up and owned by the family that runs it. Nothing here is a conversion. The apartments were drawn as apartments, with the power and the security planned around people staying rather than passing through.

Because the family is on site, decisions are quick. A request that would sit in a queue elsewhere usually gets answered the same day.

How far is the airport?

Bole International Airport is about 3 km away, straight down the airport road. Traffic decides the rest, but it is a short run at most hours.

Can I stay for a month or longer?

Yes. Nightly rates are quoted per apartment, and monthly terms are quoted on request. Say so in your enquiry and we will price it as a long stay rather than a run of nights.

Can I cook in the apartment?

Yes. Every apartment has a full kitchen with an induction hob, an oven and a fridge, plus a dining table. That is the reason most of our guests choose an apartment over a hotel room.

What happens when the power goes out?

A 100 kVA standby generator carries the building, so lifts, lights and water keep running.

Is there parking?

Yes, reserved parking on site behind the gate. Mention it when you enquire and a slot is held for your stay.

How secure is the building?

Guards work in shifts day and night, entry is by key card at the front door and on each floor, and cameras cover the entrances and common areas.

What language do you work in?

English and Amharic, both at the front desk.
